Saints rule out Elliss and Jennings, list Kamara and Olave as questionable for the Giants
The final injury report of the week, released Friday, Oct. 16, rules out linebackers Kaden Elliss and Anfernee Jennings for Sunday at the New York Giants, and lists Alvin Kamara, Chris Olave, Nathan Shepherd, Lorenzo Styles Jr. and Zach Wood as questionable.

NEW ORLEANS: The Saints will be without two linebackers on Sunday, Oct. 18, at the New York Giants, and the availability of their two most important offensive players will not be settled until closer to kickoff, according to the final injury report released on Friday, Oct. 16.
New Orleans ruled out Kaden Elliss, with a calf injury, and Anfernee Jennings, with a knee injury. Both missed practice all week. Giants Wire and Big Blue View both carried the two outs on Friday, and the Friday table published by A to Z Sports and carried by Yardbarker listed the same designations and injuries.

Five Saints are listed as questionable: running back Alvin Kamara, with a back injury, wide receiver Chris Olave, with an illness, defensive tackle Nathan Shepherd, with an illness, defensive back Lorenzo Styles Jr., with a knee injury, and long snapper Zach Wood, with a calf injury. Giants Wire, Big Blue View and the A to Z Sports table all carried the same five names.
Olave and Shepherd get back on the field
The direction of travel differed inside that questionable group. Olave missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday before returning in a limited role on Friday, according to the A to Z Sports table and the USA Today player update, which cited ESPN reporting on his Friday status. Shepherd followed the same pattern, out Wednesday and Thursday with an illness and limited on Friday, according to the A to Z Sports table.
Kamara, by contrast, was limited on all three days with the back injury, his third straight limited day on Friday, according to Heavy and the A to Z Sports table. Styles was limited on Thursday and Friday after not appearing on the Wednesday report, and Wood practiced fully all week while carrying the questionable tag for his calf, according to the same Friday table.

The rest of the report cleared. Defensive lineman Vernon Broughton moved to full practice on Friday after two limited days with an illness, quarterback Tyler Shough practiced fully all week despite a left hand injury, and edge rusher Tyree Wilson and defensive lineman Colby Wooden were full participants again, none of them carrying a game designation in the Friday table published by A to Z Sports and carried by Yardbarker.
The Giants get their tackles back at practice
New York ruled out three players: cornerback Colton Hood, with a concussion, tight end Theo Johnson, with a neck injury, and safety Tyler Nubin, with a neck injury, according to Giants Wire and Big Blue View.
The Giants questionable list is shorter and, by Friday, healthier. Offensive tackles Andrew Thomas, with a groin injury, and Jermaine Eluemunor, with a calf injury, and edge defender Abdul Carter, with a calf injury, all returned to practice on Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday, and all three are listed as questionable. Giants Wire and Big Blue View both reported the returns, and Big Blue View reported that safety Jason Pinnock had cleared concussion protocol and will play.
The Saints enter Sunday at 1-4 and the Giants at 3-1-1, the records carried by Giants Wire and Saints Wire this week. Kickoff is Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, according to Giants Wire.
