Saints make six roster moves, waiving Price and Rechsteiner and releasing Adomitis
New Orleans re-signed Decamerion Richardson, released Cal Adomitis, waived Jayden Price and Brock Rechsteiner, and cut Ulysses Bentley and Trey Palmer from the practice squad on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

NEW ORLEANS: The Saints made six roster moves on Tuesday, Oct. 13, re-signing cornerback Decamerion Richardson, releasing long snapper Cal Adomitis, waiving cornerback Jayden Price and wide receiver Brock Rechsteiner, and releasing running back Ulysses Bentley and wide receiver Trey Palmer from the practice squad.
Price was waived two days after he fumbled the opening kickoff of the second half against the Minnesota Vikings. Pro Football Talk reported he made three tackles in five games. Saints Wire and Sports Illustrated both linked the move to the fumble, which came in Sunday's 23-13 loss.

Adomitis had filled in at long snapper while Zach Wood was injured. He was the second fill-in the Saints tried: Scott Daly snapped in one game before leaving for a place on the Chicago Bears active roster, according to Saints Wire and Sports Illustrated. Adomitis played in three games for New Orleans.
Rechsteiner was waived from the reserve/suspended list and has not played a regular season snap. The undrafted rookie, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, was suspended six games for violating the league policy on performance-enhancing substances, according to Pro Football Talk, Heavy and Sports Illustrated. He had been on the reserve/suspended list since the preseason roster was finalized.
Heavy also reported that Rechsteiner was involved in a confrontation with Dallas players during a joint training camp practice, an incident that drew wide attention because of his wrestling family. Sports Illustrated likewise noted a joint practice session with the Cowboys as a highlight of his preseason.

Richardson returns in the signing. A fourth-round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders in 2024, he originally joined the Saints off waivers from Las Vegas, according to Pro Football Talk and Sports Illustrated. Sports Illustrated reported he appeared in 27 games for Las Vegas and is a graduate of Bossier High School.
The two practice squad departures, Bentley and Palmer, were reported by Pro Football Talk, Sports Illustrated and NFL Trade Rumors alongside the other four moves.
The moves came on the same day Saints owner Gayle Benson publicly called the team's 1-4 start not acceptable, and ahead of the Saints game at the New York Giants on Oct. 18.
