Nicki Minaj’s Amsterdam Show Axed Following Drug Incident

After a recent episode at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport involving the discovery of marijuana, Nicki Minaj faces another setback with the cancellation of her upcoming performance at the Ziggo Dome on June 2.

Upon her release and fine for possession, concert organizer Mojo decided to call off the show, providing refunds to ticket holders.

This marks the second concert affected by Minaj’s airport troubles, with her Manchester gig also being rescheduled to June 3. The singer expressed her frustration at being detained and accused law enforcement of discriminatory treatment.

Response from Amsterdam Authorities

Officials from the Royal Netherlands Military Constabulary refuted Minaj’s claims of bias, stating that their actions were standard protocol and not racially motivated. They detained her after finding multiple joints in her luggage, releasing her upon payment of a fine.

Despite the setback in Amsterdam, Nicki Minaj has announced plans for additional shows during the North American leg of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour, scheduled from September 4 to October 11.
