Exciting News: Chobani Founder Takes Over Anchor Brewing
May 31 (UPI) — In a surprising development, Hamdi Ulukaya, the innovative mind behind Chobani and a well-known figure in the business realm, announced that his family has acquired Anchor Brewing. This historic San Francisco brewery, which sadly closed down last year after more than a hundred years in business, is now under new leadership.
While the exact financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, Ulukaya has not only obtained the brand itself but also all related assets, including the expansive 2.1-acre Potrero Hill campus and the brewing equipment located in the De Haro Street warehouses.
