After a prolonged legal battle with Spotlight Ticket Management, also known as TicketManager, StubHub has been instructed by a California state court to pay a $16.3 million jury verdict. The lawsuit filed by TicketManager alleged breaches of contract and interference with business relationships by StubHub, leading to significant financial losses for TicketManager. The jury unanimously ruled in favor of TicketManager, awarding the company the full commission owed.
CEO and co-founder of Spotlight, Tony Knopp, expressed satisfaction with the decision, stating, “This victory is not just for Spotlight but for all partner affiliates and ticket purchasers nationwide. It validates our position after years of legal disputes.”
